HDARC  had  a  great  time  with  Teachers  in  Space  (TIS) at  the  Balloon  Fiesta  Museum.

Teachers In Space  is  a  national organization  that  brings  teachers  together  at  regional seminars  to  learn  how  to  build  CubeSat  payloads  and assemble  the  balloons  to  carry  the  payloads.  The  whole idea  is  the  teachers  carry  their  new  skills  back  to  the classroom  and  guide  their  students  through  a  broader STEM/STEAM  activity.

The HDARC  outing  with  TIS  was  a  super  rewarding  experience.  The  Club  was  able  to  make  some  great contacts  with  local  teachers,  and  we  established  our  bona  fides  with  the  TIS  organization,  which, hopefully,  will  open  the  door  for  many  more  HDARC  opportunities.
