As part of the HDARC Youth Outreach mission, the Club hosts training sessions & testing for interested Scouting groups. For instance, at one August meeting with scouts in attendance, Bill Mader K8TE gave a Merit Badge Presentation training and Yul Bratcher W8YUL provided testing for the Scouts. All Scouts passed their Technician exam. And, everyone had a FANTASTIC TIME! 

Another was when HDARC members spent some time with the Scouts out at the Edgewood Camporee (article). A Camporee is a weekend designed for Scouts BSA troops with a competition of scout skills and lots of fun! We persevered to support almost 200 scouts over 20 Troops and nearly 100 adults & volunteers in their scouting adventures.
